flat-weave rugs from the East.
Shot in Istanbul, Nicosia and Perugia; edited together with unearthed super8 archival footage from 1972 and bits of extended interviews with merchants who first collected and published books on the Kilims.
It's a very personal yet transgenerational journey through memory and art history.
